That is a total of 50 hours for the life of one bulb although I'm extremely carefully wearing a plastic gloves when installed them. put them on a Honda Odyssey, the bulbs has terrible shocking short life for this set of lights (5 months with minimal usage) for use just about 20 minutes/day. Be aware and avoid these lights if you don't want to change the light after 50 hours usage
I have already opened the package, so can not return it under Amazon's return policy. Next time I will pull the bulb and check the number on it before ordering such an item. FYI-this does not fit a 2002 Toyota Camry as Amazon's chart indicated. The product is great-have it installed on my Highlander, but had order another for the Camry, which takes bulb 9005 instead of 9006.
When these go I am going back to my stock headlights. If they last a year I'll be happy. Like others, I bought these because of the price. I do notice an improvement in night driving. I had PIAA's that lasted 8 months.
I'll go back to these if I have to, because it's not worth getting my car (or myself) torn up due to a deer crossing the road. They are sending me replacements, but when these go out I'm going to definitely try something different. Brightest bulb out of 3 I've tried, but I had both go out on me within a week after 8 months. I called Sylvania and they said the bulb life is only rated at 200 hours. There are a lot of deer in my area and I need as much light as possible, but there has got to be a better alternative to replacing bulbs in less than one year.
they are very good i can see a whole lot farther and they worked good in a dense fog worth the price they costs twiced as much here
